Emeryville, Calif., January 20, 2005 - BigFix, a leading provider of security configuration management solutions, today announced that the company has been selected as a finalist for two 2005 Codie Awards by the Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA). The SIIA and an independent panel of industry judges selected BigFix Enterprise Suite and BigFix Patch Manager as finalists in the Best Systems Management Solution and Best Security Product categories.

The initial Codie Awards judging round which determined category finalists included thorough evaluation of products by a range of experts, including software and information security trade press, mainstream technology writers, analysts and consultants. In the Best Systems Management category, the BigFix Enterprise Suite was selected out of 26 submissions and in the Best Security Product category BigFix Patch Manager rose above 49 other submissions.
